This is a really good BBC Radio dramatisation of "War and Peace" in 10x1h episodes:

It's available for listening anywhere, but not for downloading outside of the UK.

Just out of curiosity, why does Episode 1 have 20 days left to listen, while Episode 10 only has 18?

That happens frequently and I have no idea why it does.

There are other dramatizations available. See this thread for details.

BBC aired all 10 episodes in a marathon on New Years Day, but they have started re-airing the episodes one by one every Saturday (only episodes 1 and 2, so far). The days left to listen is counted from the last date aired.

Episode 3 says "Not currently available." All of the others are available.

Yeah, there was a lot of that yesterday with different broadcasts. The ones I checked today (including W&P) seem to be available again.

It all worked for me when I downloaded it. I use an open source package called "get_iplayer" to download radio programmes.

Clicking on 'download' near the top of the page takes you to another page where you can, unsurprisingly, download the episodes. But you'd better be quick, there is just one day remaining for these downloads.

I posted in reply to those who said that episode 3 was not available. However re-reading my post I see that it may come across as a little patronising, that was most certainly not my intention. My apologies to anyone who may have felt slighted by my post.
