Question HTML for Kindle

Hi!

I want to write an e-book in HTML for Kindle (Not save a MS Word doc as filtered HTML). What are the HTML tags, such as <!DOCTYPE HTML>, that must be included at the beginning?

Thank you!

Kindlegen
supports both epub2 and epub3 books as input files. I'd recommend using Sigil or Calibre Editor since both programs will automatically insert the proper doctype.

Dear Doitsu,

Thank you for your reply.

I used Sigil and it worked fine!
