Glo Can't connect a google account

Hi everybody!

I have recently installed the android v2 for kobo glo, which works perfectly with some tweaks!
But there is one thing that just doesn't work no matter what I try: connecting a google account for play store or emails.
I have connected the wifi on my internet, and it's working with all my app, but when I try to sign in with my google account (which I use on my android phone and tablet), it doesn't work, displaying the message "Can't establish a reliable data connection to the server. This could be a temporary problem or your phone may not be provisioned for data services..."
I tried another account registered from another country, I reinstalled completely the android image, but nothing seems to work.

Any idea of what could cause that?

I think that problem might also be linked to the fact I can't modify any system file no matter what program I use to modify them (ES Explorer in root mode, Root Explorer, Terminal emulator in root...).
It shows the whole system folder in R/W (which I can't change apparently), but when I try for exemple to change MsgE6.apk, it says that it is a read only system file...
I can't even put the dual boot files in the system folder.
