BBC Radio dramatisation of "Journey to the Centre of the Earth"

In case anyone's interested, there's a very good BBC Radio dramatisation of Jules Verne's "Journey to the Centre of the Earth" available for roughly the next month:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b007jtt8

Should be available world-wide.

Thanks - this is my favorite novel and I always appreciate different versions.

Is there a way to download it, and listen away from the computer? I didn't see a link.

The BBC do podcasts with can be downloaded, but many programmes are only officially available via streaming. Of course, capturing streaming audio locally is pretty simple, but you might also want to look for "Get iPlayer Automator" on Mac or similar on other platforms.

Since we're on the subject of podcasts, some may be interested to know:

Quote:
Serial’s first season, which debuted in October 2014, is complete. You can access its twelve episodes [here], for free. Season 2 will feature a different story and will be coming sometime later in 2015. Sign up for newsletter updates here. Serial is a spin-off of This American Life, a radio show and podcast which produces new shows throughout the year and which you can listen to here.
ABOUT
Quote:
Serial is a podcast from the creators of This American Life, and is hosted by Sarah Koenig. Serial tells one story - a true story - over the course of an entire season. Each season, we'll follow a plot and characters wherever they take us. And we won’t know what happens at the end until we get there, not long before you get there with us. Each week we bring you the next chapter in the story, so it's important to listen to the episodes in order, starting with Episode 1.

You can subscribe to the Serial podcast for free on iTunes and other audio platforms, and you can also listen here on this site. If you need help understanding how podcasts work and how you can get one, watch our tutorial. We’ve wrapped Season One of Serial, but all of the episodes are still available for free. Stay tuned for Season Two in 2015.

Serial, like This American Life, is a production of WBEZ Chicago, which also produces these podcasts.
