Hi all
First, excuse me for my very bad english (I'm french) OS: Win7 (64 bit) Calibre: 2.14 (64 bit) Input File format; epub Output File format: kepub With this new version (i've juste upgrade), when i select "kepub" in ouput i've this message: "ImportError: No module named PyQt4" This, is the text I've in the Detail windows Code:
calibre, version 2.14.0 ERREUR : Exception non gérée: <b>ImportError</b>:No module named PyQt4 calibre 2.14 [64bit] isfrozen: True is64bit: True Windows-7-6.1.7601-SP1 Windows ('64bit', 'WindowsPE') ('Windows', '7', '6.1.7601') Python 2.7.8 Windows: ('7', '6.1.7601', 'SP1', 'Multiprocessor Free') Successfully initialized third party plugins: KoboTouchExtended && Kobo Utilities && Fichier de sortie KePub Traceback (most recent call last): File "site-packages\calibre\gui2\convert\single.py", line 215, in setup_pipeline File "calibre_plugins.koboconversion.conversion.kepub_output", line 56, in gui_configuration_widget File "calibre_plugins.koboconversion.conversion.config", line 32, in __init__ File "site-packages\calibre\gui2\convert\__init__.py", line 62, in __init__ File "calibre_plugins.koboconversion.conversion.config", line 41, in setupUi ImportError: No module named PyQt4 If I clic on the "OK" button of the convert windows then I have this error "AttributeError: 'MetadataWidget' object have no attribute 'opf_file' " This is the text I've in teh detail windows: Code:
calibre 2.14 [64bit] isfrozen: True is64bit: True Windows-7-6.1.7601-SP1 Windows ('64bit', 'WindowsPE') ('Windows', '7', '6.1.7601') Python 2.7.8 Windows: ('7', '6.1.7601', 'SP1', 'Multiprocessor Free') Successfully initialized third party plugins: KoboTouchExtended && Kobo Utilities && Fichier de sortie KePub Traceback (most recent call last): File "site-packages\calibre\gui2\convert\single.py", line 274, in accept AttributeError: 'MetadataWidget' object has no attribute 'opf_file' It seems that there is no problem to convert from epub to another format (epub -> mobi for example) thanks Last edited by Freddec; 12-28-2014 at 03:16 PM. |

did you update your Kobo Utilities Plugins to the latest?
That error is typical for a pre Calibre 2.x version of the PI |

Kobo Utilities have nothing to do with the conversion to kepub format; that's handled by either [Device Plugin] Kobo Touch Extended Driver or [Conversion Output] KePub Output Plugin depending on how you want to do the conversion (on the fly as it's sent to the device, or on demand and stored in the library).

It looks like, as the OP is selecting kepub as output, he's using the coversion plugin. Furthermore, I think the drivers are automatically updated when calibre is updated, but plugins aren't. So, perhaps, he should update that plugin.

hi,
I've downgrade to 2.11 and to 2.8 version with no result. I've uninstall/reinstall all kobo plugins with no more result Even when all kobo plugins are uninstalled, i can have the choice to convert to kepub (so this option do not come with plugin's, but is directly inside Calibre). But I always have the same error :-( |
