An SD card remote?

Hello to all,

What do you think of an SD card as a universal remote? SD cards were always ideal for informarion storage purpose, now appear SD remotes, SD radios and SD tuners.

Any ideas on the case?

Just because it CAN be made smaller, does not mean it SHOULD be made smaller.

you're slightly mistaken, here. SD radio, SD remote, SD such and such are not SD cards with other capabilities, but devices that can be inserted into the SD slot of a Palm.
Well, thinking about that... they are cards! You're right, I'm slightly mistaken...

What do I think of them? Well, some of them are really cool, but all of them are very expensive.

I already have the NoviiRemote program on my SD card but in order for it to work my TV, DVD, etc, I have to put the database on the Palm's internal memory. But in essence, the SD card is the remote since it is run from the SD card.
