Lost Plugins on Upgrading
Just upgraded from 1.47.0 to 2.47.0 today and lost - Resize Cover, Marvin XD, KoboUtilities and EpubMerge. This has never happened before. I've just gone back to 1.47.0 and everything is back to normal thank goodness.

Sigh.. The simple approach was to upgrade the plugins to their current versions. Calibre 2.x uses QT 5 while 1.x used QT 4.

Plugins required updates to them to handle QT 5, so you will find most plugins have new versions that handle both calibre 1.x and 2.x

I'm not sure if Marvin XD has been fully debugged yet.

The plugins had updates too, in case you didn't notice.

The plugins did not "disappear". They simply were not up-to-date enough to handle calibre 2.x

You can find a general list of things that changed here: http://calibre-ebook.com/new-in/eleven including a warning to the effect that

Thanks for the info. I thought all the plugins should have been up to date - obviously they weren't!
