Question Manage Your Content and Devices

Anybody, besides me, having problems getting the Manage Your Content and Devices page to load on Amazon?

I've tried both Firefox and Chrome, on dialup and broadband and it just refuses to load. I get the little spinning circle in the middle of the page and then nothing. Very frustrating.

Do you perchance have some kind of Javascript/Flash blocker or browser spoofing or other custom settings regarding such in place?

I know from experience that the MYK page sometimes won't function if you've done partial blocking of Javascript (like you can do with the NoScript extension on Firefox), or if you've set your browser to fake being a different browser that for some reason the Amazon site doesn't consider compatible.

Yeah. That was one of the first things that crossed my mind, but I've started Firefox in safe mode (firefox -safe-mode) which starts with third-party extensions disabled and no luck. I'm *sure* it's something to do with my system, as things were working as of at least last weekend. Sigh... I'll keep plugging at it.

So... Back again. I was finally able to connect to the page with broadband. Still can't connect on dialup (my default connection). Beginning to think it's a speed/timeout issue. I don't use it enough to dig much further. I'll just live with it if I can continue to connect when I can get a broadband connection.

According to Amazon they're "working on this problem"

I noticed that the manage my content & devices was down on Friday when I went to return a library book from my HDX. I thought it was a tab problem, but no, it was the same on my laptop with Safari. I used chat to ask Amazon CS what was wrong and had a very nice conversation advising that it "is an issue going on for other customers as well our engineers are working to get it addressed. However I don't have an estimated resolution date yet." So, I waited patiently all weekend and called CS today as it is still not working - and they still do not have a estimated time/day for resolution of this issue. Not sure how many customers are effected, but am really rather annoyed about this! Let me know what you all hear.
Cheers!

PS I use high speed broadband and have no access to this - at all. Caches and history cleared, but it's a glitch with Amazon apparently.

Maybe it's geographical? It's working fine for me, on both Chrome and Safari.

I had Wishlist problems (spinning pinwheel) in Wednesday 11/26 but I figured there were too many people shopping. Looks like it's working now. Might or might not be in any way related!

Well.... Thank you for that. Since I use dialup as my main connection, I get used to wonky things happening and never thought about checking with CS.

It *does* seem to be working for me with Chrome (I've finally given up with Firefox - way to many problems these days) on a broadband connection today.

Did you try rebooting? Sometimes things get hung up and the only way to clear things is to reboot the system. At least that's been my experience.

I'm having the same problem across multiple devices & browsers. Logging out, clearing caches/cookies, restarting browsers, trying the Amazon app instead - still great white nothingness on MYC&D. I've yet to hear back from them about it, but I've run out of things to try on my end.
