Question need help sync with pc and mac
spent all week and weekend trying to figuire out how to sync my kf ( 1st gen with 2012 screen savers, and read to me)

with both mac and pc

pc has windows 7 ( media plyer 12) and other pc has xp ( media 11)

mac using andrid file transfer


cant get anthing to work and now i find the pw2 uses this method ( assume voyage does to as the kindle os looks same)

what do i do can someone give me beginners instruction wak through
i want to sync books, etc but dont no how as it looks so differnt then when sync kindle 3.

help it so bad the kindle nearly went through the window


Also is the kf hd 7 2014 the same to sync?

You do not sync any Kindle whatsoever over USB. The Kindle will automatically sync at regular intervals over WiFi.

Unless you mean with calibre. In which case, plugin your device, and if it shows up in the toolbar you can send books. If not, post a debug log in the calibre forum here: https://www.mobileread.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=234

Yes:
completely irrelevant.

It seems to be a standard USB OTG adapter, except some loon is claiming it will work on the Kindle Voyage.
As the Voyage is not a USB OTG--supporting device (and has no file browser anyway), it won't.

got a nice appology from the company. in future i will check before ordering anything cus things like this shouldnt happen , should they.

from looks of it theres a lot of people doing this and i dont like it . but dont think theres much i can do to change it other then ask before ording infuture.

I have found tho that one of the accessories do work with my new kindle fire hd 6
as i double checked with them again.

so im assuming sellers (in genreal) were working on the idea that the voyage and paperwhite 2 were going to have audio included like kindle 3 etc .
just glad the matter is sorted

have yet to hear any expliation from mobile fun tho :/
