iPad reflections while reading driving dog nuts

Sunlight and house lighting reflects off my iPad screen while I am reading on it and creates spots of light that move across my ceiling and walls. My dog gets really amped up and chases these which makes it hard to concentrate on my book! At times I shut the blinds or turn off the offending light but this isn't always easy. Can someone recommend a screen filter that will still make it enjoyable to read but minimize reflections?

Thanks!

There are various non-glare screen protectors available, but be aware that they all degrade the text a bit, or a lot. If you get a screen protector, make sure it is the non-glare type as the normal ones are not going to help at all. I've tried several over the years, but never found one that didn't degrade the text too much. Polished glassed tablets and phones are going to reflect a lot, but if yours is casting beams of light onto your walls and ceiling then I think no screen protector will help. Best to eliminate or tame the light sources or get an eInk reader for that location.
