Recommend me an e-reader

I'm looking to buy my wife an e-ink ereader that plays well with Calibre.
Important to me:
- great screen, 7" or thereabouts seems the right size
- good reading interface
- ideally simple to navigate and grab books from the calibre server
- light & rugged

Not important:
- touch screen
- color
- other games/apps

I've heard that the Onyx T68 is nice, but this would be my wife's device, so I'm not looking for something that is hackable and tweakable at the expense of being simple to use.

Thanks!

Sure - or Aura H20, if 'rugged' includes 'waterproof'.

Yes, the H2O is nice, although it has poor dictionaries compared to the Kindle. Not an issue, obviously, if you don't make much use of dictionaries. Certainly the H2O has a very nice screen.

Yes... but excellent dictionaries weren't mentioned in the wishlist, and a screen of around 7 inches was, so Kindle wouldn't be my first (or second) rec in this case.

Yep, the H20 fits this perfectly. I love the screen size of the H20, I'll never go any smaller after being spoiled by the 6.8, although I'd consider a larger screen size (the size of an Ipad Mini) if it ever was available (and light).

Kobo Auro H20.

I despise reading on Kobo devices... but that makes the most sense here.
