M92 frozen (Another one bites the dust)

Hi.

This is my first post.

Last month, my M92 got unresponsive. Screen frozen. While reading, the screen got frozen and hasn't changed since then. Tried lot of things (many times), including typical reset procedure:
Connect device to charger
Reset the device by holding the reset button while plugged-in
Leave device plugged in for at least 3-4 hours
Power-on device after that.

Nothing happens except that LED lights blue for 15-20 seconds. Screen displays the same menu.

I wrote to customer service and they told me to send them the device.
Only the shipping costs are around 70 euros (from Spain) plus repairing costs (warranty is over). So total amount would be over 100 euros.

Could I try any other 'soft' procedure before sending the device?

Thanks.

Firmware: update-20131204

Hi!

Still having the same problem.

Searched the Internet for several weeks but not found anyone in the same situation. I've read in this forum about a tool called MFGTools to flash the device.
Should I try it in my case or is it dangerous?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.
