K4 for Sale in Officeworks Elsternwick, Melbourne, Australia

Hi, I've had my K4 since March 2012, and am just finishing uni now. It's been an absolute godsend, it was what got me through uni with all the books I needed.

I tried to recommend to the other people at uni to buy a Kindle, but they couldn't handle the concept.

Anyway, for the past three years I've been going to Officeworks at Elsternwick, Melbourne, Australia, and there has been this K4 (like mine) for sale.

It's basically been sitting there all this time. It was for sale fo $99 AUD, and they have _just_ dropped it's price to $79 AUD.

I just thought it was interesting. Everyone is onto their voyages, PW1, PW2, etc, and there is this K4 just sitting there waiting to be bought.

I wonder how many they have out the back in the warehouse ??

The mind boggles.

Anyway, just for a laugh.

What do you mean "they couldn't handle the concept"?

I know for a fact that Australians can read. I've even read books written by Australians. I have a few on calibre right now.

If there's an economic division (as in Peru, where the privileged have access), then I might understand what you're saying. However, I would think that young adults in a University environment would be intellectually mature enough to understand the concept that you are proposing.

Please explain.

Thanks.
