PDF to EPUB converting Library

Hi,

I'm an android App developer. I'm interested in converting pdf to epub format.

Does anyone know if there is a Android Library which converts from PDF to EPUB format?

Both Open source or paid license SDK should be ok..

PDF to ePub is a hard problem. Don't expect any code to do a very good job.

Calibre is open source and has a go at such a conversion, but is written in python, so you'd ned to translate.

I don't know of any Java/Android PDF->ePub libraries, but perhaps others do.

To second pdurrant: PDF to anything is a *very hard problem*. Unless your use case is trivial, it is hard to imagine producing acceptable-quality output.
