What is a good workflow/process to read later web pages offline /w custom highlights?

Kindle App? What else?

I understand I can add pages to the Kindle Reader app by the Send to Kindle desktop application, by email but how do I add from iOS officially, in late 2014?

I read about some Dropbox solution but that might be painful if I say, want to add something like 10 articles/web pages at a time.

Same question; different device.

Here is what I want to do:

I find web pages on the desktop, I mark them as read later on an Android/iOS device, offline. I sync the Android/iOS device over Wi-Fi or upload content via USB then my web documents are ready for offline consumption.

I also want to highlight part of the documents for later review. I also want to see normal size characters even on a mobile phone screen.

What are the tools of trade?

I use Evernote. To copy the webpages to Evernote I use their web clipper on PC, and on iPad EverClip. I practically never browse the web on my Mac so the need has never arised, but I assume the web clipper would work too.

I generally use Instapage to save web pages for later reading. I'm not sure about the highlighting though.
