Onyx M92 screen replacement or buy M96 ?

Hi to all,

I have an Onyx M92 with broken screen.
The cost of the screen replacement is 200 € (including shipping).

What do you think? Is it better to replace the screen of M92 or buy a new M96?

This is not so simple. To change the screen some voltages must be adjusted in function of the batch of the production of the screen. This information comes from Booxtor - http://ereader-store.de

Between to repair the M92 or to buy a M96, i'll wait to see the if the futures updates of the firmware give a M96 also good than the M92. For the moment, I prefer my M92.

Currently the price for repair of broken screen is 150 EUR in our store (including parts, work and VAT). Shipping price depends on destination. E.g. EU - 12 EUR via UPS (avg. 2 days delivery time)
You can try to order the screen by Aliexpress and do it yourself. You would save shipping, labour and perhaps VAT. But it is not as easy as some think though. During screen replacement device can be damaged even worse. Additionaly warranty could be lost.

I did it.

I am looking for M96, but in the meantime I had to repair with the lower price possible, my M92 (2nd time).

Screen works but, actually I see that the dark is "very dark" and there is a lot of ghost images.

I think this is the voltage problems.

How Can I set them?
