Column coloring rules
I've tried doing searches in the forums and in the user manual but I can't seem to find the information that I'm looking for.
Is there any place where it shows/describes how to setup the column coloring rules? I'm trying to setup a couple of column coloring rules that work off multiple criteria but I can't figure out how to do it without setting up an individual rule for each criteria. And somehow I think there's a simpler way to do it. In this particular case I'm trying to setup two rules for the tags column. Rule 1 - If tags has the words "podfic" or "audio" then it turns the line purple. Rule 2 - if tags has the words "fanvid" or "fanvids" or "vid" or "video" then it turns the line orange. I've tried using commas, using or between each word, I've tried setting them up as individual conditions within the rule but nothing seems to work. |

Use commas:
Your #1 has 2 values Your #2 has 3 values Code:
If TAGS column HAS value:podfic, audio |

Well, that's frustrating. I *know* commas was one of the first things I tried that didn't work yet now it's working.
Thanks for the help, theducks! |

Okay, I think I may be confused now. I suspect I'm confusing terms. Going with the podfic and audio I have a bunch of stories with variations of the following tags: podfic, podfic length: xy minutes, community: podfic, audio, audio format: mp3/4b, audio format: streaming.
Right now my rule is setup as: If TAGS column HAS values: podfic, audio From what you're saying this will only give me result with Tags that are specifically listed as podfic and/or audio. It won't mark any of the variations? Is there a way to get it to catch the variations as well without having to try and figure out what all of them are? |

And this is why I was hoping there was some kind of cheat sheet or even a section in the user manual explaining how to use the rules. I would never have thought to use the | and I assumed using Has Pattern would look specifically for "podfic, audio" which would have been useless.
Thanks again for the help. |
