Scribd audiobooks on Kindle Fire HD?

Can someone tell me in simple language if I can listen to audiobooks from Scribd on my Kindle Fire HD? I downloaded the Scribd app but don't see anything about audiobooks. Thanks!

You need version 3.8 to get the audio part. The kindle app isn't up to that version yet. I sideloaded the apk I got from my android phone to my 2012 Fire HD 8.9 and after I fixed my download messup ( I didn't first uninstall but replaced), I now can play audiobooks on it.

I just put my apk's in my drobbox folder and just click it from there.

If you want to wait, I am sure they'll update soon for the Fire. I can get you the apk if you know how to sideload on your fire.

If you want, I can give you step by step instructions. I myself was quite a newbie with this stuff until a while back and others have helped me a lot.

I would appreciate it so much if you can give me the step by step instructions. I would love to be able to use Scribd for audiobooks. I get some audios from my library but I also spend about $50 per month on Audible....

Wait....I just checked for updates and it downloaded an update. I now have audiobooks! Thanks for your help.

Oh my goodness they are fast at Scribd with updates. Glad you got it to work now. Yay.
