We made it. The row boats were a particularly nice touch and those blankets the Red Cross handed out came in handy. I thought that the pastor's sermon on walking on water whilst demonstrating definively that he was not the Christ was poignant.

thank goodness the red cross was there. it seems the donation i made the other day when they were out collecting in the streets was worthwhile.

Just kicked the last of the spawn out of the lifeboat. Only remnants are the Spousal Unit's best friend who just stays on forever, and one of the wedding party whose flight was on American, and therefore cancelled.

Still raining. The tents survived. The cakes did not. Should have had a "cutting the tent rope" picture, I guess.

I tried to burn a DVD of the photos for my new daughter in law and discovered that my brand new computer's DVD player just stopped working.

Love technology. Keeps me in business.

One of the cable channels here has been running Princess Bride over the past week. Another has been having "retro" night, with WKRP episodes.

I've been watching TV again, needless to say.
