I haven't figured out a straightforward way to search all builtin recipes, which would be very useful in building my own. For example to find all the recipes that use parse_index. The recipe files don't exist unless I create a custom recipe based on one. Is there a way to export them all at once, or what do I need to do?

You could look at their source on Github. See https://github.com/kovidgoyal/calibr...master/recipes

Thanks for the lightning quick response, PeterT! Your response put me on the right track. After some Googlage, I figured out how to download those (Download the zip at https://github.com/kovidgoyal/calibre/zipball/master and then extract the recipes folder. If there is a way to make a zip URL for just the recipes folder, I couldn't figure it out, but the entire source was a fast enough download.)

I too tried to make a zip for just the one folder but had no luck. Glad you were able to get them all though.

There is no web interface to download subfolders
![]() Yes, you will have to have developer tools installed. ![]() Might be worth it if you plan on updating semi/frequently but just for test examples... not really. And you have them already. |
