Liquid Gold by Melbourne-based author James Phelan (Wikipedia) is the 4th in his Lachlan Fox series of action adventure thrillers starring an intrepid Australian ex-navy operative investigative journalist, for which we've previously received another couple of volumes on promo (but these things seem like they can be read standalone), this installment involving corporate corruption and terrorism and espionage, oh my!, free courtesy of publisher Diversion Books.

Hachette Australia still owns the e-book rights to this series in the UK and Australia (and potentially other non-North American parts of the Commonwealth), so ironically, this will not be free for actual Australians*.

Currently free @ Amazon & iTunes (both available to Canadians).

And this has been the selected 3rd free (non-repeat) ebook of the day.

Partly because the iTunes featured Free eBook of the Week, which looks like a pretty nifty selection, is stubbornly refusing to drop, but I suppose it'll eventually finally go free by tomorrow, once they've gotten it sorted out. In the meantime, this looks pretty decent.
