Girls to the Rescue Book #1: Tales of Clever, Courageous Girls from Around the World edited by Bruce Lansky is the 1st in a series of collections of girl-powered kids/tween adventure stories based on folklore, both newly-written and re-told from classic tales, free courtesy of publisher Simon & Schuster's Meadowbrook Press imprint.

This is a repeat from 2011, and we've previously received several other short stories excerpted from other volumes in this series and a similar other one also edited by Lansky, which are still free in multiple venues.

Sorry about that; normally these things have the same ASIN for the same edition in the North American and UK, and I forgot to compare the ones I copy-pasted into my note-taking app (I don't keep the original tabs open after I've checked the price and grabbed a copy) when it came time for filling out all the stores.
