Another Newbie

Hi everyone,
First time poster, longer time as lurker.

My kindle keyboard just bit the dust, and I'm processing what new device to replace it with.

I use Calibre to manage my library, and keep my books in both EPUB and MOBI formats. Recently discovered the Marvin app on my iPhone, and really like it a lot! One reason, as an example why I like Marvin: I can email a highlight into my Evernote(s). For PDFs, though, I still use iBooks.

I'm thinking seriously about the new Kobo H20. Would have liked to have gotten a Kobo Mini, but missed the boat on that one. Am open to other brands, although feeling kinda done with Kindle for the time being.

Thanks for all the great advice you've given this stranger so far. Looking forward to more, and sharing if I have anything worthwhile.

Welcome! My city's independent bookstore still has K minis, so I know they are out there. If that's the reader you want, look around.

Thank you for this reminder! I checked and it turns out my indie bookstore used to carry the Mini. Oh well. Now to save up for the H20...
