Organizing versions
I have noticed that in my personal library I have a few particular cases of duplicates.
1. Different formats. E.g. Same book both PDF and EPUB. 2. Different years of publication. Might mean different cover. Maybe a few other subtle changes. E.g. Same book published in 1996 and 1984. 3. Different editions. E.g. Same book, only first and second edition. And the changes can be quite spectacular. 4. Reflows. E.g. The original scan and the k2pdfopt reflow of the same text. Only the first issue is solvable by merging the two or more rows. But how do I organize each of the other cases? |
