authors cleanup

Is there a way to ensure that authors like :
Thomas Moore and
Moore, Thomas

are seen as the same ?

Change them all to be the same?

The Quality Check plugin can help you find what needs fixing.

Quality Check ==> Check metadata ==> Check authors with commas
Select all found books
Quality Check ==> Fix ==> Swap author FN LN <-> LN, FN

The Manage Authors is another feature that's useful for tidying up Authors - especially those with names such a Madeleine St. John and Dương Thu Hương.

Several ways to get there - right click an author name in the Book Details panel (where the cover is) and select Manage Authors or right click an author name in the Tag Browser and Select Manage Authors. AFAIK there's no keyboard shortcut to get you there
