Works Of Robert Frost: (150+) poems (Kobo) for $2.99

Over at Kobo they have 4 collections of poems by Robert Frost in one book. These books are:

1. A Boy's Will
2. North of Boston
3. Mountain Interval
4. Miscellaneous poems

The book is listed at $2.99 but it does work with coupons so you can save a bit.

Kobo

A pretty good deal for so many poems I think. I can remember reading some of his poetry in school many moons ago.

I assume there's some formatting or other value added. It looks like all of these are available at Gutenberg.

I didn't know they were available there. I assumed since he was at J.F.K's inauguration that he hadn't been gone long enough for any of his work to be PD.

I think that's due to the odd hop-skip-and-jump nature of US copyright law. The same way a lot of pulp magazine stories of the era wound up PD. (In the US only, of course!)

I really do wish copyright terms and coverage were more uniform!

Well, for people living in Life+50 countries, Robert Frost is now completely public domain and Project Gutenberg Canada has a collection of some of his poetry with vintage woodcut illustrations by an artist friend of his: West-Running Brook (you'll have to scroll, sorry, they don't seem to have put up anchors in the source).

I've been reading some of the poems in the 1st collection and the man certainly did have a way with words.
