Free (Kindle/Kobo) Dora the Explorer and Friends [Kids Picture Books + Multilingual]

Dora and Friends is a picture storybook line tying in to the popular educational children's cartoon series Dora the Explorer (Wikipedia), out of which we are being offered a half-dozen titles in both English and Spanish translation, free courtesy of Nickelodeon Publishing.

This is technically a repeat, since these were free previously in the B&N store as part of their Free Fridays promotion, but they never got mentioned here at MR and are newly free @ Amazon (not available to Canadians, but have accompanying Spanish translations) and Kobo (available to Canadians), so I'm just going to consider this as a new freebie for the purposes of the daily thread-count, unless something really compelling pops up in the next few hours.

NB: These are specially-formatted e-books which will need a compatible device or app to read.

If any kids you plan to show these to happen to like them and have access to a compatible device or app, Nickelodeon Publishing books happen to be couponable @ Kobo (at least in Canada).

And this has been the selected 3rd (non-repeat, kind of) free ebook thread of the day.

Because multilingual multicultural books teaching kids things about having fun while co-operating, while also happening to tie in to a popular cartoon series (disclaimer: I have never seen this because I grew up with mostly no cable television and I'm not sure it ever aired on a Canadian channel included in a basic package anyway) increasing the likelihood that the kids might actually read them in the first place, are A Good Thing™ if you don't want to end up with an A Clockwork Orange-style dystopian future filled with roving gangs of disaffected undereducated xenophobic youth with poor impulse control and thrill-seeking behaviour due to poorly-attuned stimulation mechanisms.

Especially when we get them for free.
