M92 screen problem

Hi,
I expose my problem:
I was reading on my m92 and suddenly the screen became blank like the battery was over..
I did full charge, tried reset process but without succes.

There is sometimes like a reminescence on the screen after u let it open for hours.. My impression is that the screen connector failed somewhere..

I'm here to ask if i can check inside without risks, or if it's preferable to send it back to booxtor where i bought it.

Hi Floghi, did you open it up already ?
maybe unplugging the battery will just do it. But I really think the screen is damaged. it's quite fragile, maybe it cracked from underneath without even noticing it.
just open it up - it's quite simple.

Hello, thanks for the comment ebOOker, i tried unplugging the battery, and the screen too, but no succes..

i'm not sure the repair price still worth without warranty :/
And by the way i'm not sure, was it 2 or 3 years of warranty ?

I have still a question, to be power on the current flow must absolutely go through by the battery ? Want when i tested to power on with the battery unplugged, the lead didn't go to purple color.

To backup your content please do following steps:
1. reset your device (to be sure it is off)
2. power on (blue led goes on for a couple of seconds) and wait ca. 1 min.
3. connect M92 to your PC (using USB) and press OK (joystick) button. Your PC should signal a connection and you should see a new removable data storage (boox) in explorer. You can backup your data now.

I followed this procedure, and it's in fact the screen as the connection is OK with PC.
