Calibre Library deleted 7xct1a

In My documents, next to Calibre Library, I also now see an empty folder
( sorry an empty directory ) with the name,
"Calibre Library deleted 7xct1a"
created & modified 2 days ago ??

Is this some side effect of a calibre upgrade ?
- some temp dir. it creates when books are removed ???
I'm sure I did not create it

The name sure looks like a Calibre temp folder

Did you do to a Library?
move (rename)
repair
restore
add/remove a custom column

When you delete books from calibre, they are renamed into a temp folder. Then that temp folder is deleted in the background. If something on your computer locks files in the temp folder, the delete will fail. Most likely a file sync service like dropbox.

that makes some sense, I probably did delete a book or two on that date.
but that's all, & no PC crashes. & I don't fully quit calibre I just close it to system tray so it should always be able to complete any clean up operations.

The only syncing i do is one-way from calibre library to other backup locations ( including a dropbox folder) using free file sync. The sync program willignore a folder like this which is NOT inside of the calibre library folders, but is outside of those, within My Documents. FFS only uses the calibre library folder as its source.

I'll regard it as one off unexplained glitch I think & just delete the empty folder.
