how to add "added" column?
it will sound stupid but i still don't know how to add a simple column like "added"
i have normal 2 : "updated" and "published" both help me published = original publish date from the epub updated = as i read fanfiction i can see when i updated something but i lack simple "added" that will show me when i added the story to calibre, for now if i do add it it shows the same date as "updated" |

@iakovl - by default the Date/date column contains the date-time when the book was added to your calibre library - assuming that you don't change it, which you can if you wish to use the column for a different purpose.

i didn't change much as far as i know
use FFDL : https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=163261 for downloading fic's "date" has the same date as "modified"(called it "updated" by mistake) for me should be: "modified">"date" for updated story "modified"="date" for new story |

Modified/last_modified is the date-time that the book metadata was last changed in the database.
Modified and Date will be the same when a book is first added to the database, if you added a tag to the book then the Modified date would be updated to the date-time you did that but Date wouldn't change. You cannot change Modified Date. If you never change Date it should always be the same or earlier than Modified. I'm not sure what your question is or what you're trying to do ? BR |

I suspect they stay the same because the metadata didn't change - when a story gets updated I would guess the format file is replaced but that doesn't change the database.
It's an FFDL issue, where you already have a question posted, I can't help you because I am ignoramus when it comes to fan fiction. BR |
