Migrate Calibre to new install

Hey forum,
I'm tasked to move a Calibre installation from one Mac to another.
Is it safe to assume that all settings (including those of the plugins) are stored within the database folder or are there other places?
Can I export these settings and restore them without moving the whole library?

Did you read the FAQ?

There are 2 sets of settings:
1) Library specific (in the matching DB)
2) User level (In the config folder)

My bad, I quickly skimmed over it for how to move the library. Well, I guess backing it up is a start too!

Thank you!

IMHO Backing up and Moving (restoring) are almost the same.

The big Q: Did you succeed in getting things to your new system?
