Problem installing ver. 2.1 on Win 8.1
Hi,
I have just tried to install the 64bit, 2.1 upgrade over the ver 2.0 on Win 8.1 and the installation starts with 'Change', 'Repair' and 'Remove' buttons. Selecting either of the first two aborts the setup with the message "The specified account already exists". Any ideas what the problem could be? Thank you! |

Calibre I presume? So this thread should be moved to the Calibre forum for the best help.
In the meantime, try un-installing the 2.0 version of Calibre first, then install the 2.1 version you've just downloaded. As it states on the Calibre download page "doing so will not affect your books/settings". |
