Aura or Aura HD
I have and really like the Sony PRS 950s (with 7" screen).

Which would be better, the Aura with 6" screen or Aura HD with 7" screen?

Given that you like the 7" screen of the 950, I'm guessing that you'll probably like the 6.8" screen of the Aura HD. You can get more text on screen with the Aura HD then you can the 950 because the 6.8" HD screen is wider then the 950's 7" screen.

Another vote for Aura HD, but if you can wait couple month or so then there might be newer models to choose from.

Both are good, but the screen (size, character sharpness...) of the Aura HD is better.

i, Actually, you hit on another question I have.

Well, assuming your PRS 950s still works, why not wait? I can't predict te future if or when new ereaders will arrive. But keep in mind: the Aura HD is an old device (release date: April 25, 2013).
Except its ultra-high dpi screen all other hardware components are common and used in many other ereaders. It uses a Pearl screen (without Regal technology; which is present in the Aura 6" model, btw) and no Carta screen (Amazon PaperWhite 2).
My guess is that new readers will use Carta screens (like the recently released Tolino Vision in Germany; build by and based on a reference design by Netronix)

A, Both of them still work but one is starting to need charging more quickly.

I tend to agree that waiting should be a safe strategy.
