rename filename?

Hi ^_^

In Calibre, when I open the folder containing the book, the filename is (for example):

Danse macabre - Stephen King.epub

What should I change in Calibre for him to rename all of the books as I want? I would like them so:

King Stephen - Danse macabre.epub

Thanks

No can do - the library folder and file names cannot be changed.

You have a lot of control over folder hierarchies and names if you use the Save to Disk facility.

As BetterRed said the folders and files within the calibre library are not user configurable.

You can however save books outside of the calibre library using the Save to disk feature. The Save to disk feature has a template you can control using calibre's template language which will allow you export books in the format you desire to any directory outside of the calibre library.

thanks BetterRed and DoctorOhh. The Save to disk function is a good solution for me ^_^

Can you tell me what setting I must change in calibre for save to disk, creating a single folder with the surname and name and of the author, for example:

King Stephen

and, into the folder, alle the book of this author and named:

King Stephen - Danse macabre.epub

thanksssssss

You change the appropriate device template (a folder is just another device model) for all Exports: {author_sort} - {title}

I showed using Author_sort because you show King, Stephen <note: Last comma first
