Removing all text including and after "-"
Most of my authors column has the name of the author then " - " and then the book title.
The title is already in the Titles column so I just want to remove everything after "-" could someone tell me how to do this please? Mike |

 I use the phrase 'Exactly what you want'' as this will kill anything AFTER (and including) the first space hyphen spaceA full Library Backup in advance is highly recommended. |

I think I am misunderstanding you as when i tried that it made no difference.
you did mean search and replace in Edit metadata didn't you? |

I just had to search for - .* and replace with nothing thanks |
