Restoring to factory settings didn't help... reformating to fat32 did not help either. I'm using the same usb port and cable which I have used successfully before.

Heres what I tried now... Reset device, connect to computer and reformat it to FAT32 (not quick format), reset (reinitialized) again just incase.... started calibre and pluged in the device...
All good, no errors. tried to send a pdf to the device and then:
