Kindle file error (Was:Not sure where to put this sorry!)

I use calibre to convert my amazon kindle files, but there's three that it won't convert using the plugin (can't remember the name at the moment sorry!). This is what comes up:

Any ideas please?

That indicates your database has somehow got entries in it with no author, which should be impossible. The easiest wat to workaround it is to edit the emtadata of those books changing the author to something new and then change it back, or simply delete the books and re-add them.

I've tried deleting the books and then re-adding them, but that doesn't work. I can't change the author because they need to be converted from AZW, which happens straight away when I drag the files in.

calibre does not convert anything automatically when you add files. I am guessing you are using the DRM removal plugin and your issues are being caused by that plugin. You should report your problems to the authors of that plugin.
