Imbed Metadata Problem (?)

Calibre 1.42 Windows 8.1

Author(s) "Catrin H. Williams & Christopher Rowland"

When I use "Embed Metadata" and then check PDF properties in Adobe Reader XI the authors are displayed as:

"Catrin H. Williams & Christopher Rowland; Christopher Rowland"

Don't understand where the extra "Christopher Rowland" is coming from. Am I using the wrong format for authors?

Probably because there is some existing Adobe specific XMP metadata field that Adobe Reader is appending to the normal authors.
