New Apples just a few months away!

According to a 6/26 report from International Business Times, new Apple products are just a few months away:

"Apple will be releasing a series of products this fall including the iPad Mini 3 according to reports. The tech giant often updates its hardware cycle every September or around fall introducing refreshed or all new versions of previous product categories. Aside from the much anticipated iPhone 6, the company will also reportedly be releasing a series of iPad tablets including the Mini 3 featuring a new TouchID experience and 8MP camera among others."

They just relaunched the 16GB iPod Touch yesterday at $199.

I'm personally more interested in the computers though. My MacBook Pro went into a coma all last week, and started working again this Sunday (a miracle), but now the keyboard is getting worse and worse. I'm not sure which desktop I'll be upgrading to this time around, kinda going for either an iMac or Mac Pro.

Still happy with my first generation iPad Mini.

Apple AND Amazon lost the 2014 technology race. Samsung introduced the Galaxy s5 with a 5.1" screen and captured the market. Amazon will have a 4.7" competitor introduced in July and Apple with have a 4.7" and 5.5" phone in September.

Both missed the race and the optimal size.

I wouldn't imagine too many current iPhone users would buy a Samsung. Too much investment in the iOS ecosystem. And equally true vice versa, of course.

I love a nice size screen as much as others, but why are you equating screen size with winning the technology race?

Oh wow, someone has predicted that a tech firm will release new devices sometime in the next few months! Bwahahahahaha!!!! A walleyed, stoned shaman could predict that! What major tech firm doesn't release something a few times a year.

My MacBook Pro (15.4" late 2011) just went casters up. (Mfg defect/thermal paste on GPU) rather than buy another one, I ended up buying 21" iMac and 11" MacBook Air for the same price as that MBP would cost. I'm pleasantly surprised by the combo.

Those 2011 models really had some big issues. Mine is a late 2011 too, except the 13" version.

That's just too many machines for me. I'd love to have a nice desktop and laptop, but there's no point. For me, there's very little use for a laptop. I'm just sitting at my desk using my MBP for example, the only other place I use it is in bed, my living room, in a hotel room, and my grandmother's house.

Good, enjoy your devices and leave us alone. I'll still have my iPhone 5S in three years time while you'd have said the same thing about whatever new device comes out then.

I tried three years of Android, but at the end I just prefer iOS. There's a lot of things besides the size of the display that matters in an operating system.

Mine (same model) died from the same issue a little over a year ago.
