KOreader doesn't see most PDFs and EPUBs on reMarkable tablet

Hi, I just installed KOreader on both my Kobo and my reMarkable tablet (rM1) and I seem to have three doubts:

1. On the Kobo KOreader works perfectly, but on the rM it isn't recognizing any of the EPUBs and PDFs which were on the device before it was installed. (It does recognize one PDF I transferred over at the same time that I transferred the KOreader zip file.)

2. Maybe relatedly, I tried to download a Wikipedia page as EPUB from KOreader and it said it had no place to put the EPUB file?

3. Then I thought I'd open Calibre on my laptop and transfer some EPUBs over, but when I did, neither my Linux PC nor Calibre recognized the reMarkable.

I just started using Linux last week so the chance that I'm creating these problems through user error is still very high. Any ideas would be gratefully received.

IIRC, the rM port currently has a bogus fallback Home set, that probably doesn't help.

Also, I have no idea *where* the stuff you're trying to read comes from in the first place, but it's also likely to just be stored in a place you're simply not currently looking at.

It's a file manager, you just have to point it at the right place .

And, no, there's no USBMS support at all on that platform either (at least not from within KOReader).

You'll probably have better luck getting answers from actual people with a rM by asking about that wherever it is they discuss these things (reddit? discord?). Because, as you might have noticed, there's no rM forum on MR .

You list other devices like the Onyx Book Note 2 which is also a large screen device. KOReader runs fine as an app on my Note 2.
