Can you give some more info on your problem? Did the download itself consist of several files, or was that after running the setup? Have you run the setup program? Did it install anything to your device?

well the program consisted of a zip file. once I unziped it I got a setup.exe file, a another zip file which was a .cab file. IT contained all the really small single files. Then there was a setup.ini file and a license.txt file. When i double click the setup.exe file it just sends me to the add/remove activsync screen. Nothing gets installed.

The CAB file might be a standalone install file. Try copying it to your PPC and "executing" it from there (in file explorer or whichever explorer you use). That might install it for you.
