libprs500 renamed to calibre

Hi all,

Just a heads up to let you know that libprs500 has now been renamed to calibre and is available at http://calibre.kovidgoyal.net

Congratulations. The new name is far more marketable than libprs500. It also signifies the growth of the product from a collection of routines related to the original Sony PRS-500 to a full system.

I changed it because libprs500 is no longer totally SONY centric.

Kovid, what is the best way to upgrade? First uninstall libprs500 and then install calibre? Will it keep my database intact?

Yeah uninstall libprs500 and install calibre. Nothing apart from the name has changed. Your database will remain intact.

I just upgraded -- it worked like a charm!

If you need some temporary file space to ease the download spike, we can mirror the setup files on our CA, USA and DE servers.
