transfering large libraries from Calibre to Arc

I am trying to send my library from Calibre to my new Kobo Arc. I have about 7000 titles to move and am wondering if there is a way to move multiple books in one move or do I have to transfer them one at a time.
any help would be greatly appreciated.

calibre can select multiple books at once, using the SHIFT key. All selected books will perform whatever action you choose -- for example, sending books to device.

Select books you want to transfer by shift left mouse click at beginning of books list in Calibre and end of books list column you want to transfer. Release mouse button and control key. Then with cursor over highlighted books you selected click right mouse button pops up menu to send books to device or storage card B.

To select multiple books not directly above or below books in Calibre library use control select, while holding down control key, click left mouse button on each book you want to select. As many as you want to select. Right click while cursor is over one of the selected books and send books to device or storage card B.

I have selected up to 1000 books this way and sent them to my reader. More books sent makes for longer processing time.

You can expand Author list or Tag list in Calibre to easily select about any group of books or collection in Calibre.

Control-A also works to highlight every book in the Calibre library and then transfer them all.

When I loaded my Kobo Mini up with a couple thousand titles, it took forever (> 1 minute) to start up. If I keep it to < 500, it seems to start up in under 20 seconds, which is acceptable to me. Is this typical with the Kobo devices?

It seems typical on most ereaders, it's not a Kobo limitation. When I hit about 1200 books on my Sony 350, I noticed it started behaving very slow, even page turns within any one book was sluggish.

I got over the need to carry every single book I own with me and only keep around 300 books on at any time, more than enough to pick anything new to read while out, and deleting any that I've read. I use Calibre to keep all my books in one spot and even that's backed up to another drive, so no chance of losing any books.
