Editing Dictionary?
First, I want to say that I LOVE this editor! I'm on my 3rd book already and it was so easy that now I can consider fixing any of my keeper ebooks with little errors. I tried so hard to figure out Sigil and it just did not come easily for me. I'm not technically enabled enough.
I have one question. Is there a way to get at the dictionary to remove something that was accidentally added? I accidentally hit 'add' on a word that is incorrectly spelled. Last edited by Tarana; 05-17-2014 at 02:37 PM. |

Is there some way to add to the list of suggested spellings for a word, such as adding "café" for "cafe" of "fiancée" for "fiancee"?

1. type the list of preferred spellings for café, fiancée, fête etc into a text file and then use Edit->Preferences->Editor Settings->Manage spelling dictionaries->Manage user dictionaries->Import list of words 2. Use another dictionary dictionary - try ===>>> http://extensions.libreoffice.org/ex...s-dictionaries and these http://extensions.openoffice.org/en/...che-openoffice I think the Canadian dictionary would have French spelling for French loan words and US spelling for ...ize, ...or and ..led words etc BR Last edited by BetterRed; 05-18-2014 at 05:21 PM. |

Suggestions do not come from the user dictionaries (this is a limitation of hunspell).
