For those of you in Toronto, or have an interest in books set in and around Toronto, take a look at http://www.torontopubliclibrary.ca/b...rhood-list.jsp As the CBC say in a news article http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/toront...oods-1.2644220 Quote:

Thank you for posting that - Toronto's my hometown! Wonder if I'll ever make the list....does it count if there are scenes in Toronto?

I do like books set in Canada. I read a dreadful one set in Inuvik while I was living there and it was still interesting just for the place descriptions and the local customs/politics. I used to live in cabbagetown in 1970. safest area in the city in some ways at that time. People out on their verandahs, balconies at all hours even in the winter. Probably different now. Helen |

I think Cabbagetown still has that feel to it (although, please don't quote me!)
