Post Is Calibre OAI-PMH compliant

I want to know that the calibre software is OAI-PMH compliant or not?

calibre stores metadata in a sqlite database. However when you export metadata/books from calibre you get along an opf file with (part of) the metadata in the Dublin Core format, which is what OAI-PMH requires. Whether calibre is "compliant" or not I haven't the faintest idea.

I'm flabbergasted.
  1. @Naikoo Muzamil: Why should calibre be compliant?
  2. @Naikoo Muzamil: What is OAI-PMH anyway?
  3. @odedta: What do you really want to say?
