How do you put solved to a thread ?
I just posted and solved (!) a question today but I could not mark it as Solved.
Seeing what is or is not Solved is very useful when you are in the very time consuming process of looking for an answer. And I would like to help as much as be helped. How do you do it ? As it is, I added an icon lightbulb to my thread. Which is, or not, very speaking ??? |

You can't. Every problem is solved here.
![]() (The only thing you could do is ask a moderator to change the thread title for you, but this is really not usual here.) |

My suggestion would be to edit your original post to add "solved - answer in thread" or similar to the very beginning so that those reading it will know, if they have a similar problem, to read on for the answer.
Also, for those of us that use the hover feature that shows the first several words of a post from the forum thread listing, having that info in the beginning will show before they even click to view the thread. |

Of course every problem is solved ! Stupid of me ...
Anyhow I'll follow CWatkinsNash good advice and put Solved in the beginning... of the title of the post, isn't it ? I don't know what hover is, and this way it's seen in the thread list. Thanks all. |

Oh, then I've expressed myself totally and completely wrong. I didn't mean that it is unusual that you moderators change thread titles but that it happens very very seldom here that someone adds a "solved" to the thread title. Sorry!
