bookrags account
Hey guys,
sry for posting this but in one week i have got an big exam where i have to present my work. One of the books that i have chosen was "Candy: A Novel of Love and Addiction" by Luke Davies. My problem is: I am still reading the book but till sunday i should finish my presentation about several other books too. The only sites who provides help with summaries and characters is bookrags.com The problem is that i am just a normal student who don't have a credit card nor a paypal account and who can't afford to pay 20$ for a character list and summary of a book (please try to understand me My request is: Can anyone download this for me http://www.bookrags.com/studyguide-candy2/ Or only the character list - I really need it and i can't express myself right but please help me I know that the most guys here who will answer will say: "Buy an account you fool" or several other things but please make one time in your life an exception and download this file for me for free with your account - it won't hurt you and it would help me a lot Anyway thank you if you can't help me with my problem Greetings |

You're kidding, right? You want someone else to provide you with access to summaries/analyses of books you have not read (whether in part or completely) but will present in class and be graded on? My goodness.
Honigfisch, you describe yourself as "just a normal student", but based on what you posted, I vehemently hope that's untrue. Otherwise, what's the educational system coming to? Today's Friday. You still have this weekend to do your work. I recommend that you do finish the book you will present - or switch gears and present a book that: 1- YOU HAVE ACTUALLY READ and 2- If you need further assistance to supplement your own understanding of the work you read, has been analyzed and summarized by a reputable source that is accessible, free-of-charge, online or in materials you can find by visiting a library or bookstore. These search results link to some online book summary/study guides. I can personally vouch for Sparknotes and CliffsNotes, which are well-written, informative, and available free-of-charge online, as well as in print versions you can read in the bookstore or library. Some similar resources listed in Wikipedia (which I can't vouch for, because I've never used them) include: 60second Recap Coles Notes eNotes FlashNotes York Notes Additionally, Wikipedia (though not always the most reliable source) itself sometimes includes book summaries and analyses. It took me all of two seconds to discover this Wikipedia page - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Candy:..._and_Addiction - which briefly summarizes the book's background, plot, and themes as well as provides links to more in-depth reviews and analyses. Good luck on your presentation and exam. Last edited by Froide; 04-18-2014 at 03:00 PM. |

Secondly: I don't have to explain to you which kind of student i am and you don't need to provoke me by saying: "I hope this is vehemently untrue". I think you also searched sources on the internet for a presentation and i don't think that this is wrong if you are not copying everything word for word but rather read it and try to add something to your work which you missed to jot down But now back to the topic: I am writing the whole summaries at my own and all the rest too. The reason why i need it is to compare it because in this way i feel more secure and i can add things which I forgot to write - you can believe me or not that i am just using it to compare In addition to that, my mothertongue is not english and i am not living in the UK or US which is way more difficult to write 10-20 pages about a topic in english Thats why i need it However, thank you for replying and offering me some other sites My only problem is that i am not able to pay 20$ for a online website which i will never use again in my life and to pay 20$ for some summaries while the book itself costs approximately 10 euros. If it would be 3-4 euros fine but 20 $ is too much Furthermore this isn't just a presentation - this is a big oral exam where my teacher is going to ask me about the topic and the books All i asked was a favor of somebody who has got an account. It won't hurt anybody to do somebody else a favor. Humanity died... Best regards Last edited by honigfisch; 04-18-2014 at 04:27 PM. |

Good, honest and upright students do the work they are supposed to. Just like as an adult I can't have someone else do my job for me and still get paid for it.
Welcome to the real world, get used to it. |

I'm sorry, but you really need to do your own homework.
