Meanwhile the Crusaders wage new wars, from a Reconquista in Spain to the Crusades in the lands of Egypt and Syria.

This is one of the greatest stories in Islamic history where the flame of Islam was almost extinguished and like a white thread at dawn a great leader arose in defiance and the very light of Islam touched the hearts of even the enemy itself.
