Glo Bicked kobo

Hi,

my glo is caught in a "factory reset" loop: when I boot, the factory reset starts. When it is done, the device shows the smiley/sleepy face with the usb cable advising to plug it into my pc. When I plug it in or turn it on, the factory reset restarts.

I downloaded a factory image, thinking my sd card was corrupted, and installed it on another card. But my glo shows the exact same behavior. I also tried installing Android, but no chance: it won't boot, even after pressing the reset buton.

Any idea? Could I suppress/modify a file in the sd card in order to avoid factory reset? Is my hardware dead?

I think that the light button is defective and looking to be always pressed. This would trigger a factory reset at every boot. Either get the kobo replaced under warranty or, if this is not an option, try to check the button by yourself...
